ABBA recorded "I Have a Dream" for their 1979 album Voulez-Vous, and it became a major hit in multiple countries. Unlike many of their disco-flavoured singles, this track leaned heavily on a softer, almost gospel-inspired arrangement. Its hopeful message and memorable chorus have helped it remain one of the group's most enduring songs, covered and performed by artists around the world for decades.
In George Orwell's novella, the pig named Napoleon eventually drives out his rival Snowball and establishes himself as the undisputed leader of the farm. Orwell used the pigs to mirror the power struggles of the Russian Revolution, with Napoleon representing Joseph Stalin. The choice of the name Napoleon already hints at authoritarian ambition, borrowing from the French emperor known for centralising power and expanding his control.
Calibri, Arial and Courier are typefaces most computer users encounter regularly, often without thinking about them. Calibri served as the default font in Microsoft Office for many years, replacing Times New Roman in 2007. Arial is widely used because of its clean, neutral appearance, while Courier is a monospaced typeface originally associated with typewriters, where every character occupies the same width.
Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal, sitting near the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Tagus River. It is one of the oldest cities in Western Europe, predating other modern European capitals such as London, Paris and Rome by centuries. Its location made it a natural hub for maritime exploration during the Age of Discovery, when Portuguese navigators set out along the coasts of Africa, Asia and South America.
The Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889 as the centrepiece of the Exposition Universelle in Paris, marking the centenary of the French Revolution. At the time of its completion, it was the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for more than four decades. Although many Parisians initially criticised its industrial appearance, it quickly became a symbol of the city and remains one of the most visited monuments on Earth.
